BIESS Updates Housing Platform With Project Search and Mortgage Simulator

BIESS has updated InmoBiess, its housing-search platform for affiliates and retirees looking at mortgage options in Ecuador.

The platform gathers housing projects that can be purchased through BIESS and lets users review options by city, price and number of bedrooms before starting a formal request.

The site is https://inmo.biess.fin.ec/ and is also available from the BIESS website under other products and services.

What the Tool Does

InmoBiess now includes a payment simulator.

Users can estimate monthly payments for a mortgage based on the amount requested and the term selected. The platform also includes example formats for documents required to apply for a BIESS mortgage.

The tool does not replace the formal credit evaluation. BIESS still reviews the applicant's payment capacity, contributions and property conditions after the formal application is submitted.

CrediCasa Details

The platform includes projects connected to CrediCasa 2.99%, a BIESS financing line for affiliates and retirees.

CrediCasa can finance up to 100% of a home when the requested amount does not exceed $65,000. BIESS also expanded the maximum payment term from 25 years to 30 years.
