Ecuador's July 13 weather forecast is a mixed bag: isolated rain, high UV, and wind gusts in parts of the Sierra.

For Monday, July 13, Inamhi forecast variable skies with isolated precipitation. On the Coast, rain is expected in Esmeraldas, Santo Domingo, and Quevedo. In the Sierra, rain is expected only in Cuenca.

UV And Wind

UV levels are expected to range from high to extremely high across the country. The recommendation is to avoid prolonged sun exposure between 10:00 and 15:00 in areas with the highest indexes.

In the Sierra, wind gusts are expected in Imbabura, Pichincha, Cotopaxi, and Tungurahua. The Sierra forecast includes a maximum temperature of 24 C and a minimum of 9 C, with UV levels from high to extremely high.

Regional Notes

In the Amazon, rain is forecast in several locations, including Gualaquiza, Zamora, Nueva Loja, Shell-Mera, El Coca, and Macas.

In Galapagos, San Cristobal is expected to see rain in the early morning and morning hours.

For daily life, the practical note is basic but worth repeating: in Ecuador, cool air does not mean low sun exposure.
